Mr Valentinos Ioannou was born in Limassol in 1988 and graduated with honors from Lanition Lyceum A. He obtained Architecture degree and Engineer Architect Diploma from the University of Cyprus with honors. He also obtained diploma for the Sustainable Development from cooperation between the University of Cyprus, Queen’s University Belfast and Mykolas Romeris University. He followed postgraduate studies in Town Planning and Urban Development at the UCL - University College of London acquiring the title Msc Planning, Design & Development.

Today he is working as an Architect Engineer and Town Planner counselor at his architectural office, Valentinos Ioannou Architectural Design Studio Ltd, which he founded in July 2015. Before he worked at his father’s constructions company, Y. K. Ioannou Constructions Ltd, a family business based in Limassol. He also worked as a trainee architect in Limassol at the architectural offices Akis Charalambous Architects Ltd και Andreas Heracleous Consultant Engineers Ltd. In parallel, he participated together with architectural teachers of the University of Cyprus in international architectural competitions.

He was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (Cyta), from 2017 till 2021.
